Description

Function

The GOF 3000 exclusive plus offers a maximum filtration capacity of 1,080 l/h (285 GPH), depending on the fuel line cross-section. It is suitable for diesel fuel tank capacities of up to 6,000 liters (1,585 gallons); larger tanks can also be effectively cleaned by extending the operating time accordingly.

The system is characterized by an extremely high separation efficiency for water and contaminants. The integrated water separator achieves a water separation rate of over 99%, while the Ultrafine filter, with a filtration rating of 0.5 µm, removes more than 99% of bacteria and contaminants from the fuel.

A digital timer allows the filtration process to be programmed via a weekly schedule or to start automatically directly after refueling. In the event of excessive vacuum in the system (e.g. due to contaminated filter elements), a full water separator, or leaks in the system (float switch in the collection bowl), the unit performs an automatic shutdown and triggers an alarm. The status and alarm messages are displayed on an external display, which can be flexibly installed at the helm station or any other desired location.

Through the interaction of high-quality Marco s.p.a. fuel pumps and the patented Ultrafine filter elements, the fuel inside the tank is deliberately agitated. This allows water and contaminants to be absorbed and filtered out far more effectively than during normal engine operation, where the fuel is filtered only in the supply line while the engine is running.

Installation

Our fuel cleaning system is easy to retrofit. The cleaning cycle is controlled by electronically monitored valves, allowing multiple tanks to be cleaned using a single system.

The sophisticated control software continuously monitors all safety-relevant functions and enables the user to conveniently control and monitor the system. This ensures consistently clean fuel – even immediately after refueling. Costly engine damage therefore becomes a thing of the past.

The high-quality components are perfectly matched to each other and individually adapted to the specific vessel.
